purpose of the program:
the purpose of the credentialing program is to provide civic and community engagement practitioners with a means to gain formal recognition for the knowledge and skills they possess and to enhance their professional competencies in ways that encourage more effective, inclusive, and equity-based partnerships and practices.
how it works:
become fully certified by earning 5 credentials across a range of competency areas that are critical to success in higher education civic and community engagement. earn all 3 essential credentials, and choose 2 elective credentials to be eligible to apply for full certification.
