communities of practice (cops) provide a unique opportunity for 卡塔尔vs厄瓜多尔亚盘 members to join peers across the country to dig deeper into specific areas of engagement practice. through discussions, joint activities, resource sharing, and relationship building, participants develop a repertoire of resources, skills, and knowledge to use in their practice. above all, the cops provide a great space to communicate and share strategies with like-minded individuals from all across the country!

all communities of practice take place over zoom. they are scheduled between july and august and typically consist of 4-6, 60-90 minute virtual sessions.

the deadline to register for a cop is july 17.

civic life in academia: creating educational pathways in civic engagement for students on college campuses

this cop will focus on the challenges on achievements that come from designing, hosting, and managing majors or minors in civic life on your respective campus.

collaboration for better practice: creating synergy across all sectors to better impact the field

this cop will focus on building collaborative relationships with industry, government and academia to achieve "glocal" sustainable development goals.

transformative discourse across differences: designing intentional structured learning opportunities for civic learning and democratic engagement

in this community of practice, members will engage with a series of activities where they will practice integrating intentional structured learning opportunities into their existing practices. we will also provide handouts and case studies to guide members through the transformative process. finally, we will provide a resource library and collect resources from members to grow our impact on our respective institutions.

using community engagement to fight misinformation

this community of practice will seek to examine the ways in which community engagement can be leveraged on college campuses to prevent the spread of misinformation within student communities. we will aim to provide participants with a new framework and learning outcomes to try out at their own institutions.
